A simple cardboard model can sometimes help people to visualise a design. In this case it helped to persuade the Planning Committee to overrule their advisors and grant Planning Permission to double the size of a Grade ll Listed building where others had already failed, both in their previous application and on appeal. Our chance of success was considered negligible. However, we successfully persuaded the Councillors with an overall concept that we believed made sense and which we ensured was well presented. |
